Field Study & Photography Challenge

Educational trip for a student group.

Location: Iceland, South Coast & Golden Circle.

Dates: 8-11.02.2026

The program balanced
field study,
cultural requirements, and geological discovery

This project was a specialized educational field trip to Iceland, designed and managed by Iceland Challenge DMC for a group of Jewish students focusing on Photography and Geography.

From the planning stage, the project required a highly responsible management approach to meet specific cultural and safety standards. The core of our task was to provide a budget-friendly yet premium experience that respected the group’s religious requirements without compromising the academic goals of the course.

The program combined the study of Iceland’s dramatic tectonic landscapes with the technical challenges of landscape photography, creating a meaningful connection between classroom theory and real-world natural phenomena.

While the students captured the raw beauty of the South Coast and the Golden Circle, our team provided 24/7 full operational support, including:

  • Specialized Logistics: Coordinating exclusive kitchen access and cleaning protocols to meet dietary standards.

  • Custom Accommodation: Managing gender-separated lodging at Dalur Hostel to ensure privacy and comfort.

  • Field Safety: Ensuring excellent safety standards during all excursions, from glacier walks to tectonic plate explorations.

  • Seamless Management: Handling all parking fees, transfers, and timing to keep the intensive 4-day schedule on track.

This educational journey was designed not only as a field course but as a cultural bridge, providing students with world-class photographic opportunities and geological insights within a safe, respectful, and professionally managed environment.
